Darrin Lambrigger, Director, Construction Management Division, Port of Long Beach
Darrin Lambrigger is Director of the Construction Management Division at the Port of Long Beach, directing the construction phase of the Port’s 10-year, $2.2B capital program. He has over 30 years of experience successfully managing construction and leading large teams for consultants and public agencies. He is passionate about the built environment, leading people and inspiring students towards a career in construction management. Darrin is a Fellow of the Construction Management Association of America, is currently an Ad-Hoc Director of the Construction Management Association of America Southern California Chapter Foundation and is also a Director for the International Partnering Institute. Darrin has been recognized by the Construction Management Association of America with their Distinguished Owner Award, by the Association of General Contractors, California, with their Skills, Integrity and Responsibility Achievement Award and by the Construction Management Association of America Southern California Chapter with their Presidents Award.
Mehmet Ozbek, PhD, A.M.ASCE, Colorado State University
Dr. Mehmet E. Ozbek is a professor and the holder of the Joseph Phelps Endowed Chair in the Department of Construction Management at Colorado State University (CSU). He also has a courtesy appointment in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. He has been involved in the development efforts for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Future World Vision project, an immersive virtual platform depicting the built environments of the future, guided by extensive scenario planning and grounded in deep research. His use of this platform in the classroom has been featured both in the ASCE Civil Engineering Magazine and ENR as news stories.
Paul Lee, PE, M. ASCE, Main Cast Member, Cities of the Future IMAX Film
Paul Lee is a clean energy professional currently working for the U.S. Department Energy's Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. He helps deploy innovative and emerging energy storage technologies and distributed energy systems to help the transition to clean power. He previously worked for the Los Angeles Mayor's Office and L.A.'s municipal utility leading building and grid decarbonization efforts. He is a licensed P.E. in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from USC and M.S. in Civil Engineering from U.C. Berkeley.
Marsia Geldert-Murphey, P.E., F.ASCE, ASCE 2024 President
Specializing in transportation and geotechnical engineering, Geldert-Murphey currently works for the Lochmueller Group, a Midwestern consulting firm, where she is the Illinois State Director. She has three decades of experience in civil engineering and construction, and just completed a term as ASCE President.
Marsia led the St. Louis Section as president in 2006 and served on the ASCE Board of Direction from 2016-2019 as the Region 7 Director. She completed a term as ASCE President in October. Her extensive ASCE activities include service on several Society-level committees such as Public Policy and Practice, Program and Finance, Leader Training, and Diversity and Women, as well as serving as a mentor.
Caroline Clevenger, PhD, PE, F. ASCE, AAAS, University of Colorado Denver
Dr. Caroline Clevenger is currently serving as an American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellow at the Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations where she works on Clean Hydrogen Hubs. She is on leave from the University of Colorado Denver where she is Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of Construction Engineering and Management. Early in her career, Caroline was Senior Engineer and Team Lead of Sustainable Design Assistance at Architectural Energy Corporation. She is a Registered Architect and Licensed Engineer in the State of Colorado. In 2024, Caroline was named Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
